Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, Feb 17th, 2010 Nora H. Lewis went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 13, 2010. She passed away at Heritage Health Care Center in Globe. She was 79. She was born on Oct. 3, 1930 in Camp Verde, Ariz., the daughter of John and Allie Hans. Nora has lived in Globe since 1960 with her family, and was active in church activities. She married her husband Glenn on Aug. 19, 1951. Nora enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She devoted her life to family and her Christian life. She was a joy to be with and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Allie Hans; and her grandson, Christopher Lewis. Nora is survived by her husband, Glenn L. Lewis Sr.; her children, Glenn L. Lewis, Evelyn D. Lewis, Trudy S. Lewis-Clark and Sheryl Lewis Robles; her siblings, Bennis Hans, Margaret Hans Keller, Sarah Hans Lewis, Ulene Hans Benner, Janie Hans and Jay Hans; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at Globe Christian Center in Globe, Ariz. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at Globe Christian Center. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at Yavapai Apache Verde Cemetery. She was a homemaker in her own home. she was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Christopher Lewis. Nora is survived by her children Glenn, Evelyn, Trudy(Clark) and Sheryl Lewis, her brothers and sisters Bennis, Janie and Jay Hans, Margaret Hans Keller, Sarah Hans Lewis and Ulene Hans Benner along with ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The visitation will be held Feb. 19 at 12:00 pm at Christian Center followed by the service at 2:00 pm. The interment will follow at Middle Verde Cemetery.
