The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 02/12/2003 Katie Magee Coffield Anderson died Dec. 3, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, served in the Navy during WWII and retired as Director of the Laboratory at Arlington Development Center/State of Tennessee. She married Roger Bunton Anderson in 1987 and moved to Lakeside. Katie resided in Las Vegas for the last seven years. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Show Low, Christian Women's Group in Las Vegas and Nevada Gems. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Jones; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hanna-Connery, Cristie Hanna and Michael Hanna; a great-grandson, David Daniel Dean Braswell; many friends in the White Mountains and all over the country. A memorial service will be held at Palm Mortuary in Cheyenne Feb. 23 at 4 p.m.
