MCGEE, Richard Larkin

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 02/28/2003 Richard Larkin McGee, 84, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003 in Show Low. Richard was born in Springdale, Utah, to Elwood DeWitt and Celia Hunt McGee. He served in WWII in the Navy and the Army. He moved to Holbrook in 1957 and lived there until 1991 when he moved to Show Low. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Richard is survived by seven daughters, Ann Martin of New York, Sharon Gillespie of Show Low, Sally Kowalski of Lakeside, Colleen Kantas of Pinetop, Stella Petersen of Phoenix, Evelyn Padilla of Concho, and Roberta Bodkin of New Mexico; three sisters, Estella Tanner, Ruth Tanner and Celia Wheeler all of New Mexico; three brothers, Bill McGee and Cliff McGee of Mesa and Ellis McGee of Gallup, New Mexico; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Monday, Feb. 24 at the Show Low Cemetery.
