The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 14, 1993 Paul M. Sayers of Aguila died Saturday, July 3, 1993, in Phoenix. He was 38. Mr. Sayers was born June 7, 1955, in Red Lake, Minnesota. He had lived in Arizona for eight years, moving here from Texas. Mr. Sayers was a carpenter and laborer. He was discharged from the Navy in 1978. He served four years as a Petty Officer aboard various aircraft carriers, which enabled him to see many parts of the world. He was a Native American and very proud of his heritage. He is survived by his parents Ramon and Elsie Sayers of Red Lake; sisters Jackie Sekie of Red Lake; and Mary Phinney of St. Louis. Services have been held, with interment at the Red Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg handled the arrangements.
