The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/11/2003 Fern Standifird, 91, died March 5, 2003 at her home in Taylor. Fern was born Sept. 21, 1911 in Taylor. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life, and worked in young women, Sunday school, relief society. Her brother Jack and her sang at many weddings and funerals. She loved music and her family. She is survived by her sister Faye Letner; brother, Jack Standifird both of Taylor. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11 at the Taylor Stake Center, a viewing to be held at 10 a.m. with Bishop Jim Maner officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor City Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements.
