The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/21/2003 E.Z. Nielsen, 90, died March 14, 2003 in St. Johns. Mr. Nielsen was born June 13, 1912 and has lived in St. Johns all of his life. He is survived by his wife, Lila Nielson of St. Johns; sons, Denny and Lawson Nielson; daughters, Connee Jackson and Berta Ann Rogers, all from St. Johns; sisters, Olive Shill and Christeen Hall; brothers, Roland and Delbert, all from Mesa; along with 27 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. E.Z. was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mary Nielsen, nine brothers and sisters; three grandsons; and daughter, Loretta Jean Nielson. Services were held Tuesday, March 18 at the Downtown Chapel in St., Johns. Jewkes Mortuary of Springerville and St. Johns handled arrangements.
