The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/21/2003 Marjorie Raban Sherwood, 85, died March 13, 2003 in Mesa. She was born April 6, 1917 in Holbrook, and was a resident of Springerville. She is survived by her son, John (Dani) Sherwood III of Mesa; daughters, Rita (Ed) Scale of Pima, Linda Kae (Jerry) Hitchcock of Springerville; sisters, Virginia Green of St. Johns, Katie Duke of St. Johns, Lorraine Battles of Phoenix; brothers, Kenneth Raban of St. Johns, Ted Raban of St. Johns; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by John Sherwood Sr. Funeral services will be held March 21 in Springerville at the Springerville LDS Church at 10 a.m. Jewkes Mortuary in Springerville and St. Johns handled arrangements.
