WALLACE, Nathan Scott


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/25/2003 Nathan Scott Wallace, 4, went to be with the Lord March 14, 2003. He was born Feb. 17, 1999 in Mesa to his proud parents, Marty and Stefani Wallace, and his protective big sister, Morgan 5-years-old. Nathan fought a difficult and courageous battle against all the odds in his short life. He touched the hearts of so many wherever he went and was dearly loved by all who had the privilege to know him. God bestowed a special gift to Nathan. God's light shone so brightly through Nathan that all that crossed his path were forever changed. He was truly an angel. We are so grateful for having him in our lives for his turn on earth. Nathan is survived by his parents, Marty and Stefani; sister Morgan; grandparents, Jerry and Carolyn Bliss of Naples, Florida, and Christene Wallace of Show Low; as well as many other devoted family and friends from coast to coast. The family would like to extend a special measure of gratitude to the Phoenix Police Department, the staff at Jackson Memorial and Desert Samaritan Hospitals, family, friends and community support through this difficult journey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a memorial fund in memory of Nathan Wallace at the Arizona Federal Credit Union, account no. 515431. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 22 at Central Christian Church in Mesa, followed by a procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Lakeshore Mortuary handled arrangements.
