The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 03/25/2003 Sherri Copp, 39, died March 18, 2003 at Navapache Regional Medical Center in Show Low. Sherri was born June 8, 1963, was a native of Arizona. She was born in Globe/Miami, lived in Snowflake and was a chef at Trapper's Cafe. She grew up around horses and loved them greatly. She admired her grandma and grandpa dearly, and had a lot of fond memories to share with friends and family at any given time. Sherri was a very loving person, maybe the sweetest gal you will ever know. Trapper's Cafe' in Taylor is where she found her career and she was the chef there for 24 years. She enjoyed being out with her friends and having a great time, she enjoyed playing darts, football, especially with them "cowboys." She was very determined with her goals and values of her self. When she wanted something, she went after it. She encouraged many other people to do the best with their lives. She left a little bit of life, love and hope in everyone. She will be very much missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Shawna Copp; son, Justin Copp; father, John Henry Copp; mother, Darlene F. Copp; sister, Kim Copp; and brother, Ponch Copp; and many relatives and friends. A memorial service was held Thursday, March 20 at the Taylor Love Lake Chapel of the LDS Church. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements.
