The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 7, 1993 Anne R. Hornbeck of Yarnell died Sunday, July 4, 1993, in Wickenburg. She was 68 years old. Mrs. Hornbeck was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Pittsburgh, PA. She had lived in Arizona for four years. She was a welder in World War II building landing ship tanks and after the war worked as a ranch hand in Colorado and as a cashier and waitress in various areas of the country. She enjoyed fishing and hunting. She was a member of the St. Mary Mediatrix Catholic Church of Yarnell. Mrs. Hornbeck is survived by her husband of 24 years, George Hornbeck; son John Haugh of Yakutat, Alaska; stepson George Hornbeck, Jr., of Eugene, Ore.; stepdaughters Barbara Locke of Anchorage, Alaska, and Fae Bucholtz of Mesquite, Nev.; stepfather Al Godack of Phoenix; sister Clare O'Conner of Phoenix; and granddaughter Caitlin Haugh. She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter Betty Roach. Services will be held at Frey Funeral Home Saturday, July 10, 1993, at 10 a.m. Frey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
