The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 7, 1993 Bertha M. Karshner of Glendale, Arizona, died Saturday, July 3, 1993, in Glendale. She was 89 years old. She was born March 3, 1904, at Columbus, Ohio. She lived in Arizona for 66 years. Bertha was a seamstress and came to Arizona in 1927 from her birth place in Ohio. Ms. Karshner is survived by her daughter, Betty Painton of Glendale; grandson Mike Painton of Glendale; and grandson David Painton of Wickenburg. Private cremation services will be held at Frey Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to charity of one's choice.
