The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 28, 1993 Thereisa A. Davis of Wickenburg died Sunday, July 25, 1993, at Boswell Hospital in Sun City. She was 76. Mrs. Davis was born Nov. 22, 1916, in Torrington, Wyoming. She had lived in Arizona for 35 years. Mrs. Davis was born in a sod house on a homestead in Torrington. She graduated from high school and went on to college in southern Iowa and graduated from Arizona State University in 1967. She went on to get her Master's degree and began teaching school in Wickenburg in 1967. She taught for many years. Mrs. Davis was active in the Wickenburg Saddle Club, Altar Guild at St. Alban's and was a member of the Retired Teachers' Association, and daughters of the King. She is survived by her sons, David Yeik of Escondido, Calif., and Bun Davis of Flagstaff; daughters Andrea Taylor of Phoenix and Jo Yeik of Greenbrea, Calif.; brother, Clell Parish of Farmington, Iowa; and eight grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Wickenburg Thursday, July 29, 1993, at 4 p.m. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the March of Dimes. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
