WHITAKER, Elaine Anne

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 30, 1993 Elaine Anne Whitaker, a resident of Wickenburg for the last 20 years, died June 28, 1993, at Alvin Community Hospital in Alvin, Texas. She was 80. Mrs. Whitaker was born June 13, 1913, in Spokane, Washington. She was a long-time member of Las Damas and Saddle Bags in Wickenburg and was preceded in death by her husband Stanley D. Whitaker and daughter Suzanne Whitaker Heying. Mrs. Whitaker is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Roy) Hamilton of Pearland, Texas; brother Jack Ehlinger of Seattle, Wash.; sisters Emily Ehlinger of Spokane, Wash., and Grace Hendricks of Long Beach, Calif.; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Friday, July 2, 1993, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Messinger Mortuary and Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., in Scottsdale. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 3, at 9 a.m. at the Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., in Scottsdale. Arrangements were provided by Messinger Mortuary in Scottsdale.
