LYLE, James (Jimmy) Demurry


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 16, 1993 James (Jimmy) Demurry Lyle of Yarnell died Sunday, June 20, 1993, in Wikieup. He was 63. Mr. Lyle was born April 30, 1930 into a family of nine brothers and sisters at Normal, Illinois. He moved to Arizona in 1956 where he met and married Beulah Fisher. He and his wife retired from their Panguitch, Utah, Indian Jewelry Store in 1990. They began their business in 1976 and enjoyed the many years of beauty and trout fishing that the area provided. Mr. Lyle had many interests which included gold panning, ring making, painting, fishing, playing the organ and accordion, collecting antiques and most important making people laugh. He would like for everyone to remember him for his laughter and his love for Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Beulah (Boots) Frances Lyle, sons, James Anthony (Tony) Lyle fo Wittmann and cline Demurry Lyle of Glendale; daughters Bannie[sic] Lynn Hembre of Kingman and Laura Frances Frew of Belmont, Ohio; brothers Herlon and Herbert Lyle both of Bloomington, Ill.; sisters Ruth Barekman of Monett, Missouri, and Bonnie Langhoff of Mentor, Ohio, and eight grandchildren. Services for Mr. Lyle will be held Thursday, June 24, 1993, at 3 p.m. at Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg. Graveside services will follow immediately at Genung Cemetery in Peeples Valley. Pastor Noel Tossing will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to "World Vision - Feed the Hungry, P.O. Box 1131, Pasadena, Calif., 91131. Frey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
