SMITH, Geraldine Mae

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 16, 1993 Geraldine May Smith of Cave Creek died Wednesday, June 16, 1993, at Bryans Extended Care Center in Phoenix. She was 61. Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 4, 1931, at Zanesville, Ohio, and had lived in Arizona for 30 years. She and her husband William moved from Cincinnati, Ohio, to Phoenix in 1963. In 1986, they relocated to the town of Cave Creek. She was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church and devoted her life to being a wife and mother. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 40 years, William; sons David Trent Smith of Scottsdale and Denis Brady Smith of Wickenburg; sisters Carolyn Louise Vork(this name is torn and uncertain) of Winchester, Ohio, and Betty Lou Slattery of Batvia, Ohio; nephews Edward Slattery, Doug Slattery and Jason Scott Work; nieces Debbie Ann Shinkle, Jennifer Work and Virginia Ann Wladecki. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle Hewitt. Memorial services were held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary. Pastor Bill Smith officiated. Frey Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
