WELLS, Winona Mae

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 16, 1993 Winona Mae Wells of Wickenburg and Los Angeles died Thursday, June 17, 1993, in Wickenburg. She was 92. Mrs. Wells was born Feb. 12, 1901, in Logan, Utah, and had lived in Wickenburg for the past six months. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints Church of Los Angeles. She also belonged to the United Food and Commerical Workers No. 1442 in Santa Monica. She had lived in California for 65 years before moving to Wickenburg. Mrs. Wells is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Bettilou Kraus of Wickenburg and Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren Karen Kraus Anderson, Robert H. Kraus and Larry S. Kraus; three great-grandchildren; brothers Walter Borkman of Los Gatos, Calif., and Lyman Borkman of Hollywood, Calif.; a sister Evelyn Doviat of Rosemead, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard F. Wells. Private services have been held. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
