The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 16, 1993 Mildred E. Hanne of Wickenburg died Tuesday, June 8, 1993, at Wickenburg. She was 83. She was born March 29, 1910 at Highland, Kansas, and had lived in Arizona for 53 years. She worked as a telephone operator in Kansas prior to moving to Wickenburg as a young bride in 1939. She worked for Ben Pollman Insurance Co. for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Wickenburg BPW and named woman of the year in 1960. She was also a member of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a brother, Everett K. Morehead, of Oregon; sisters Buelah[sic] Smith of Dodge City, Kan., and Maxine King o Emporia, Kan.; four nieces, two nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Services have been held with interment at the Wickenburg Cemetery. Rev. James Longstreet officiated. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
