MCCULLOCH, James Lang

James Lang McCulloch, of Phoenix, AZ went softly into the night in sleep on June 19, 2003. He emigrated from Glasgow, Scotland to Canada in 1956. On the boat there, he met and married the love of his life, Jill Fey. They married and moved to Phoenix in 1962 where they raised 2 sons and 4 daughters. He taught his children what roots are, what unconditional love is and how one behaves as a family. He was truly generous of spirit and touched friends and strangers alike. He is preceded in death by his lady wife and two sons, and leaves behind his wee sister, Margaret McCulloch, his devoted daughters Fiona, Isobel, Alison and Heather, and grandchildren, Sarah, Nick, Jocelyn, Hannah and Michael. He was the rudder that steered our course and we shall miss him terribly, but take comfort that at long last he's reunited with the wife he has missed so much. In all he has taught his children, and in everything he helped us to be, he shall live on forever. We love you, Dad. Services will be Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at 11AM at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 75th St., Phoenix. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/22/2003.
