Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, June 25, 1952 FUNERAL SERVICES ARE SATURDAY FOR ROBERT PINNELL WHO WAS ACCIDENTLY KILLED IN FAIRBANKS, ALASKA Funeral services for Robert E. Pinnell will be held in the Wickenburg Chapel at 11 o'clock Saturday morning with Dr. Charles S. Poling officiating. Burial will follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr Pinnell died July 18 in Fairbanks, Alaska, as the result of the accidental discharge of a gun. He had gone to Alaska last May in the employ of the U. S. Coast and Geodetic Survey. CAME HERE IN 1945 Mr Pinnell was born in Gary, Ind., April 21, 1927. He served with the Navy for 18 months and lived in Wickenburg since 1945. While here he worked for Hal Warner's Texaco Bulk Station and for Hadley Auto Transport. He was married in 1947 to Barbara Chilson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Roy Pemberton. DAUGHTER SURVIVES Survivors, in addition to the widow who is in Wickenburg, are a daughter, Cindy Lou, 4; the mother, Mrs Gilbert Burdine of Fairbanks, Alaska; the father, Loris Pinnell of Wickenburg; a brother, Pfc. Loris A. Pinnelll who is now in Okinawa; a sister, Mrs Robert Foddrill of Wickenburg; and the grandfather, Atna Bodkin of Wickenburg.
