CROMWELL, Harry Oliver


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, April 22, 2003 Harry Oliver Cromwell, age 82, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2003. Harry was born in Neodsha, Kansas, June 16, 1920 and has lived in Arizona for 63 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. He was a local businessman and rancher for 30 years and is a former member of the Navajo County Sheriffs Posse. Harry was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends. Harry is survived by 1 daughter, Sherry Lee Cromwell of Snowflake; 2 sons, Larry Wayne Cromwell of Show Low and Joseph Charles Cromwell of Lakeside; 3 sisters, Gaye Luther of Phoenix, Mary Rankin of Lakeside, and Louise Allison of Globe; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Lee Cromwell. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2003, in the R. V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday April 24th at the Owens Mortuary in Show Low.
