Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, May 30, 2008 Edith N. East, age 69, passed away May 28, 2008, after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, James East; her brother Leonard Rhett of Grovespring, Mo.; her children, Rickey Matthews, Sherry Berberich, and Danny Matthews; and numerous stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at Heritage Memorial Park, 12000 Heritage Memorial Lane, Dewey, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with final arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
