BENSON, Meghan Lenore

Meghan Lenore Benson returned to God on Nov. 23, 2002 at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Born Nov. 22 1994 in Tucson, Arizona she was blessed to receive a heart transplant at the age of 15 months at University Medical Center. 

She is survived by her parents Margaret and Lance, her sister Alicia, and many other loved ones. A second grader at Emmaus Lutheran School her schoolmates will miss her. All are thankful for the 6 1/2 years of memories she gave us due to the selfless organ donation of the family of another little girl. 

Memorial services are being held at Emmaus Lutheran Church, Phoenix, at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, and at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Tucson at 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 29.
