DOUMERT, Ernest Manuel


Ernest Manuel Doumert, 71, was born January 9, 1932 in Scottsdale, AZ., died June 20, 2003. Preceded by parents Jesus and Antonia Doumert. A loving husband, the best father, the greatest of grandfathers who his grandsons called "Tat's." The first of ten children a loving brother to seven sisters and two brothers. He was always there for anyone in need. Retired from City of Phoenix Parks Dept. after 25 years. He loved to fish and camp with friends and family. Baptized in dedication to Jehovah in 1950 and faithful to the end. He was looking forward to the Jasso family reunion in New Mexico to meet his newly found extended family. He will be there in memory, and in their hearts. We love you Dad, Tat's, brother friend and above all faithful husband to his loving wife of 52 years, Lupe Doumert; he is also survived by his daughters, Deborah Delgado and Julia Doumert; his grandsons and wives Daniel & Natalie Delgado, Jr. and Michael & Tamara Delgado. His 7 sisters, Rose, Ramona, Susana, Mary, Sandra, Theresa and Jenny; his 2 brothers, Rudolph and Michael. There countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as a large spiritual family. Services will take place at the Camelback Sunset Chapel located at: 301 W. Camelback Rd. on June 26, 2003. The viewing will be between 2:00 & 5:00 P.M. and his funeral service will take place at 3:30 P.M. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/24/2003.
