LAUSTEN, William F.


William F. Lausten, 74, passed away June 19, 2003. Bill was born in Palo Alto, California, moving with his family from Massachusetts to Phoenix in 1977. He was an Accountant, working in Project Management for Digital Equipment Corporation. From childhood Bill formed a great love for the outdoors. Nature was his passion and for the past 12 years he has enjoyed road cycling with the Arizona Bike Club. He has treasured the many friendships he made there and throughout his life. Bill was beloved by his wife of 39 years Shirley, his sons Britt (deceased), Andrew and Ernie, his daughter Rose Miller, son-in-law Brian, daughters-in-law Kira & Linda; grandchildren Christopher and Natalie. The funeral will be held at 9:30 A.M., on June 26, 2003 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 2312 E. Campbell Ave., Phoenix AZ., immediately followed by a eulogy reception at the church where you can remember Bill along with others who love him. At 1:00 P.M., burial will be held at the National Cemetery for Veterans in Cave Creek. Contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014-5600.
