MORGAN, Ted (LCDR)


LCDR Ted Morgan, 84, of Phoenix AZ, died on June 19, 2003. He started his career as a naval aviator and served with distinction in Japan in World War II and thru the Korean War. He later served as an aide de camp and private pilot for the Navy with the Joint U.S. Military Mission for Aid to Turkey and later with the North American Treaty Organization (NATO) in Sicily, Italy. After his military retirement in 1965 he was an instructor in the Phoenix Union High School for 15 years. He retired in Phoenix where he enjoyed golf and attending ASU games. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and sister, Melba Falls of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Arizona Animal Welfare League, 30 North 39th Place, Phoenix, AZ 85034 or your own personal charity. Services will be private.
