Black's Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Ralph Boyd Watson (September 22, 1939 - February 19, 2010) Ralph Watson, 70, of Clay Springs, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010, at Hospice Compassus in Payson. He was born September 22, 1939, in Phoenix, the son of Clay and Vera (McHenry) Watson. He was raised and graduated from high school in Phoenix. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Union Rock and Material and was a member of Local 428 of the Operating Engineers Union in Phoenix for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, camping, hunting, family gatherings and barbeques. Survivors include his wife, Janice, of the home; three daughters, Shawna Diane, Darla Sue and Carla Lynn; sons Clay Lewis Watson and Ralph Scott Watson; step-children, Richard and Robert Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at Black’s Mortuary in Show Low with Pastor Tony Johndrow officiating. Burial will follow at the Clay Springs Cemetery.
