Philip Niernberg, age 86, passed away at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona on June 21, 2003. He is survived by his wife Melba of 58 years, his sons Michael (Susan Klein), Marc and Dennis, his grandchildren and a large extended family.
Philip was born in Denver Colorado, April 7, 1917. He attended Denver University and was a B-24 Navigator-Bombardier in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Philip and Melba left Denver and retired to Scottsdale in 1980. He was a loving, dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He is fondly remembered for his good humor, good golf and good advice.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Commerce City, Colorado on June 24, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014- 5656. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.
