SOLTAU, Vera G.


Vera G. Soltau, 51, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away Friday, June 20, 2003. Born and raised in Evanston, IL, she was a graduate of New Trier High School and attended University of Wyoming. She also was a graduate of Toby Coburn Design School, New York. Mrs. Soltau has lived and worked in Chicago, IL, Bremerton, WA and Scottsdale, AZ. Owner of "Red Racket", a women's apparel store whose territory was the Midwest and "Somewhere Else Antique Dealer", whose territory was the southwest. She also was an avid golfer, active in school functions, a sustaining member of the Jr. League in Phoenix and a member of Gainey Ranch Golf Club. A loving and dedicated mother and wife, she is survived by her husband of 21 years, Mike; children, Laura Gene Hewitt (U of A), Lyndsy Soltau (Wasatch Academy), step-children Krystn Nesselquist (Seattle), Lisa Soltau (Seattle), Mike Soltau, Jr., (Dallas), parents Gene and Ted Chadsy (Glenview, IL), brother Ward Woolman (Denver) and three step-grandchildren.
