HYDE, Ilma M.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 23, 2003 Ilma M. (Cain) Hyde passed away peacefully April 21, 2003 - at the age of 97 to be with the Lord. She was born in Paradise, Kentucky February 23, 1906 to James M. and Mary E. Arndell. She married Floyd Cain in 1926 who preceded her in death in 1970. She married Chester V. Hyde on February 14, 1984, who passed away in January 1999. She and Floyd were residents of Evansville, Indiana prior to moving to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1965. She was a sales associate at Anthony's Department Store in Papago Plaza in Scottsdale prior to their closing. She was a member of the Coronado Baptist Church for many years. Ilma is survived by her son, James W. Cain and his wife, Jane; stepdaughter, Lorene Rambo and her husband, Carl; stepson, Wayne Hyde and his wife, Pat; and sister, Ivetta Burch. She has two grandchildren, Barbara Ann Goins and James W. Cain II; four great-grandchildren, Felix G. Goins III, Barbara Jaramillo, James W. Cain, III, and Michael Cain; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Amber Jaramillo and Marisa Cain. Services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., with a visitation an hour prior, at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
