PATTERSON, Lester E. (Pat)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 23, 2003 Lester E. (Pat) Patterson, 87 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on April 21, 2003 in Peoria, AZ. Born in Sharon, PA, he moved to AZ in 1958 from Sharon, PA. He graduated form Sharon High School in 1935, Bowman Technical School in 1938 and Elgin National Watch School in 1939. He owned and operated Westown Watch Repair in Phoenix until 1978. Lester was a gifted Horologist who continued watch repair work from home until April 2nd of this year. He is a veteran of WWII, U.S. Navy, where he repaired all time pieces. Survivors include his wife, Jean Patterson, Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Peggy (Bob) Smith, Sun City and Beverly (John) Martin, Terre Haute, IN; son William of Phoenix, AZ; 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
