The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 23, 2003 Marie B. Stopp, 88, of Phoenix, passed away April 20, 2003. She was born August 30, 1914 in Robert Lee, Texas. Marie moved here 80 years ago, when she became an adult she began buying houses and renting them out. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester and a daughter Betty McCall. Survived by 2 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters & numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:30am, Wednesday, Bell Gardens Assembly of God, 17871 N. 13th Avenue, Phoenix. Arrangements by Shadow Mountain Mortuary. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
