Jeffrey Alan Chapman, 48, originally from Marshfield, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2003.
Jeff a structural engineer, obtained his degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering. He owned S.E. Consultants, a structural engineering firm. Jeff was also the inventor/owner of "Funkins" a permanent, carve-able pumpkin enjoyed by families nationwide.
He is survived by his high-school-sweetheart wife, Maureen, his daughter, Amanda, 20, a senior attending the University of Arizona and his son, Nicholas, 17, a senior at Payson High School. Maureen had worked for the Fountain Hills School District with special needs children, until she became the representative for her husband's unique "Funkins" invention. The family formerly resided over 14 years in Fountain Hills, AZ. He and his wife moved to Payson, AZ last year. His mother, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers also survive him.
Services shall be held at 6pm, Friday, June 27, 2003 at Messinger Fountain Hills Funeral Home located at 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills, AZ. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the "Chapman Children College Fund" at Bank of America, Account #004655160948.
