McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel Safford, Arizona Jesus G. Macario, 64, of Safford, Arizona, passed away February 20, 2010 in Tucson at St. Joseph's Hospital. Jesus was born January 29, 1946, to Castulo and Ramona Macario, in El Tigre, Sonora, Mexico. He migrated to the Clifton area in his early 20's and later moved to Safford, where he spent the rest of his life. Jesus married Blanca Hernandez in 1980 and they were blessed with seven children; Jesus, Fernando, Servando, Blanca, Anthony, Jonathan, and Jaslym. He also has two children from a previous marriage; Jesus and Lorena. Jesus worked full time for several contractors at the environmental yard for Phelps Dodge. He loved to tell great stories about the old west, Mexican Revolution, his childhood on the family ranch in Mexico, and all about horses. Jesus was a great husband, father, and grandfather and has left his family and friends with many loving memories. Mass of Christian Burial for Jesus Macario will be conducted Friday, February 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Viewing will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m. at St Rose of Lima. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
