SMITHSON, Willie Elizabeth

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 04/11/2003 Willie Elizabeth Smithson, 88, died April 4, 2003, in Snowflake. She worked as a waitress and clerk at the Holbrook LaCasita Cafe. Willie loved to crochet afghans and she made sure every member of her family received one. She also worked in the Primary at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a Primary teacher and visiting teacher in the church. She is survived by one sister, Josie Strickland. She was preceded in death by her husband and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 4 at the L.D.S. Church in Woodruff. Arrangements were under the direction of Fletcher's Mortuary of Show Low
