Roy H. Pulliam, 73, passed away April 8, 2003, in Payson. 

He was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to Arizona in 1950. Roy lived in Tucson where he met and married Johnnie Bell Fort. He worked in construction for many years and retired in Show Low in 1987. Roy enjoyed the outdoors; fishing and camping were his favorite pastimes.
  
Roy is survived by two sisters, Anna Beecroft of Heber and Matilda Kartchner of Overgaard; one brother, Arthur Pulliam of Heber; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Southlawn Chapel and Cemetary in Tucson, with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
