MCCORKLE, Charles H.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 04/22/2003 Charles H. McCorkle, 67, died April 15, 2003 in Flagstaff. Charles was born Oct. 12, 1935 in Cairo, Georgia. He was a usual resident of St. Johns and served out his country in the USAF-S.A.C. from 1954 to 1958. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Peggyanne McCorkle of St. Johns; daughters, Tammy Davis of St. Johns, Jerrie L. McCorkle of Phoenix, Kim Ussery of Blueye, Montana; brothers, Earle Claude, Pat and Larry McCorkle of Cairo, Georgia; three grandchildren, Michael W. Ussery, Michael J. Davis and Ryan S. Davis. Charles was preceded in death by his parents R.V. and Etta McCorkle; brother, R.V. McCorkle, Jr.; brothers, IIal McCorkle, Jack McCorkle. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19 at the St. Johns Stake Center in St. Johns. Arrangements are under the care of Jewkes Mortuary in St. Johns.
