The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/02/2003 Minnie Frost Ramsey, 82, died at her home in Snowflake April 29, 2003. Minnie was a native of Snowflake. She married Howard Ramsey July 5, 1941 and were married for nearly 60 years before he died in 2001. She was a sports fan and enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in sports programs. She will be remembered for her beautiful crocheting and quilting. Minnie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her life was dedicated to her family. She is survived by five daughters, Genevieve Hammond and Donna Ayler both of Snowflake, Ladon Haelbig of Phoenix, Evelynn Roth of Taylor and Vicki Ramsey of Snowflake; one sister, Marjorie Sandquist of Nevada; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at the Temple View Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake. A viewing will be held Friday, May 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake and one hour prior to services at the church Saturday. _______________________ The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 30, 2003 Minnie Frost Ramsey, 82, of Snowflake, AZ.
