The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/13/2003 Willie John, 77, died April 28, 2003 in Show Low. Willie was born May 15, 1925 in Shiprock, New Mexico and lived in Cibecue. He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn J. Peaches; daughter-in-law, Cynthia John; sisters, Anna John and Grace J. Thompson; brother, Allen John; grandchildren, Greg Peaches, Geniece Peaches, Deljean Peaches, Derrick Peaches, William John, Edmund John and McDaniel John; great-grandchildren, Elisha Peaches, Iverson Williams, Chanadrika Williams, David Ivins and Deandre John. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at Lutheran Mission Gethsemane in Cibecue with Pastor David Rosenau officiating. Interment will be held in Upper Cibecue Cemetery in Cibecue. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
