KIGER, Stella Mae

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/15/2003 Stella Mae Kiger, 99, died Sunday, May 11, 2003. She was born in North Baltimore, Ohio and moved to California at the age of six, where she was raised and attended school. Stella was a member of the First Baptist Church in Show Low and a member of the Christian's Women's Club. She worked as a secretary for the Baptist Church in California and was a church pianist here in Show Low and in California. Stella is survived by her two grandsons, Brian Durbin of California and Mark Durbin of Show Low, and many dear friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 17 at 4 p.m. at the Show Low Cemetery with Pastor Ed Stutz of the Show Low First Baptist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the RTA Hospice, 5658 Hwy 260, No. 5, Lakeside, AZ 85929. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
