SANCHEZ, Hugo Edgardo

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 07/11/2003 Hugo Edgardo Sanchez Hugo Sanchez, 33, died July 2, 2003 in a car accident on Hwy 277. He was born in El Salvador June 20, 1970. At the age of 13 he moved to California with his father, where he lived until he was 30. When moving to Arizona he met up with Father Bill Welch, a friend from California. Hugo moved to Snowflake three years ago, working as a carpenter. He enjoyed giving service and friendship to members of his church and community. He enjoyed traveling, and quiet time alone under the stars. Hugo will be much missed by Father Bill Welch and his fiance Valarie and her children Zachary and Michael. Funeral services were held July 9 at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Snowflake with Father Bill Welch officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor Cemetery in Taylor. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements.
