Deborah Strub, formerly Alvord, our beloved wife and mother, passed away February 4, 2002 in Dallas, TX.
Survived by husband Peter, sons Alexander (currently serving a mission in Salt Lake City), and Sebastian. Sorely missed by mother Barbara Alvord and siblings Craig, Wendy, Warren, Breck and Vicki.
Deborah graduated with a double master's from ASU in music and voice. She was a classically trained musician having studied voice four years postgraduate in London, England, where she met her husband. She magnified her talents as a voice instructor in the community through Highland Park High School in Texas and as organist and choir director in church over many years.
Services will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 4225 N. 56th St. in Scottsdale on: Saturday, February 16, 2002, with visitation an hour prior. Open reception for family and friends after services at the chapel. Interment follows at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Voice Department of Highland Park High School, Emerson Street, Highland Park, TX, 75205.
