ROBLES - OCHOA, Miguel (Mickey)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, April 24, 2003 (Dec. 13, 1953 - Oct. 21, 2002) Miguel (Mickey) Robles Ochoa born on December 13, 1953, Beloved Son, Father, Brother & Uncle left us to go to Our Lord in June, 2001 [10/21/02]. Mickey was a native Arizonan, raised in Scottsdale in the little "Hispanic" neighborhood now known as the Scottsdale Civic Center. He attended Loloma Elementary & Scottsdale High School. We will remember growing up with him, playing "kick-the-can" in the dusty streets of old Scottsdale, baseball in the grassy fields of the Red School House where Mick's Dad, Guillermo, went to school & endless summer days playing in the cottonfields our Grandfather, Miguel, farmed. Mickey was in the Army in the early 70's & was employed as a carpet contractor. He is preceded in death by his father, Guillermo, Grandparents Miguel & Francisca Ochoa, Bernardo & Ramona Robles, Mick is survived by his Mother Josephine "Fina" Robles Ochoa, Son Miguel Scott, Daughters Charlotte Marie & Carrie Anne, Companion Katherine Morrisson, Brothers Joe (Gloria) Diaz, Guillermo (Ofelia) Ochoa, Gilbert Ochoa, Sisters Delores Avalos, Frances (Abel) Valdez, Ramona Ochoa, Angelita (Doug) Keatts, Patricia Ochoa & numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Mickey was a generous & loving person who would help anyone in need. We will all miss his dynamic smiles & "bear-hugs" along with his fun loving nature. Services will be at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2003 by Msgr. Eugene Maguire with visitation one hour prior. Graveside services will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
