Courtesy of Pat Wilson. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, April 30, 2003 Albert V. Schmidt, age 94, of Mesa, AZ, passed away April 14, 2003 in Tempe, AZ. He was born August 25, 1908 in Centralia, KS. He was a machinist and worked for Federal Mogul, retiring in 1973 and moved to Mesa, AZ in 1984. Albert is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mary E. Schmidt. He is survived by his daughter Jean M. Krug of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren, Janet Gray, Barbara Walker, and Robert Krug; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Gray, Shelby and Ryan Walker. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 1, 2003 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church 1730 W. Guadalupe Rd., Mesa, AZ. Arrangements by Lakeshore Mortuary. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
