West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona February 26, 2010 James E. Donegan, 53, of Avondale died of complications from multiple sclerosis Feb. 21, 2010. Mr. Donegan was born March 1, 1956, in Chicago. He served 15 years with the Franklin Park Fire Department in Illinois. He retired as a lieutenant on Oct. 1, 1995. He moved to Arizona in 1998. He is survived by one sister, Mary Beth Mondelli of Crystal Lake, Ill.; and two brothers, William J. of Melrose Park, Ill., and Terrance P. of Avondale. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. today at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. Services will begin at noon.
