Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel. Goodyear, Arizona Carolyn V. Cummings of Litchfield Park passed away December 9, 2009 in Goodyear, AZ. She was born in Rockwell City, Iowa to Wilbert & Katherine Dawson. Carolyn was a registered nurse for fifty years, practining both in Iowa and Arizona. She is survived by her son Ken Rittenhouse and wife Susan and grandson Clint Rittenhouse. She is preceded in death by her first husband Walter Rittenhouse, daughters Ann and Sue Rittenhouse, and late husband Joseph Cummings. A memorial service will be held Friday December 18, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 13720 W. Thomas Rd. Avondale, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Final arrangements entrusted to Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel.
