BISHOP, Frances (Fran) Lou

Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona February 25, 2010 Frances ‘Fran’ Lou Bishop [1933-2010] Frances “Fran” Lou Bishop, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, February 18 at The Austin House Assisted Living facility in Cottonwood, losing her courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her children. Fran was born May 23, 1933 in Woodstock Illinois. She raised her children in Chicago, Illinois and then Spring Grove, Illinois. Later she decided to move to the warmer climate of Cottonwood, Arizona with four of her children in November of 1974. Frances worked as home health caregiver for more than 15 years. She leaves behind six children, Michael R. Kunze, Karen S. Kaufield, Scott A, Kunze, Jody L. Shelledy, Mark W. Kunze and Eric J. Bishop, twenty-six grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
