Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ, Friday, April 2, 1948 KANSAS NATIVE DIES AFTER 3-YEAR ILLNESS After a lingering illness of more than three years, during which he lived here in Wickenburg, Ellis Coffey, age 60, passed away at his home here last Sunday night. He resided with Mrs Coffey at the north-west corner of First and Valentine streets. Mr Coffey came here from Kansas. He was a veteran of World War I. The remains were taken to the old home in Rosville, Kan., for funeral services and burial. Surviving, besides the widow, Mrs Bessie Coffey, well known here and to the patrons of the Frontier Inn where she has been employed, are a daughter, Mrs Rosella Stone of Thermel, Calif., a sister, Mrs Etta Gutshall and three brothers, James, John and J. R. Coffey, all of Rosville.
