A LONE MAN DIES AND IS NOW AT REST BENEATH FRIENDLY ARIZONA SKIES
In the Wickenburg Cemetery, situated on high ground west and south of the city, where the friendly sun is almost a daily visitor the year round and distant, silent mountains stand perpetual watch, the body of A. S. Goodloe was laid to rest last Tuesday morning.
None of his kin were there to watch as the Masonic Lodge of Wickenburg conducted its graveside ritual service but he was among friends whom he had acquired in a relatively brief residence in this community. C. W. Paige, Worshipful Master of Hassayampa Lodge presided at the services and Rev. Charles A. Surber served as chaplain. Mr Goodloe had been a member of Los Animas Lodge in Trinidad, Colo.
DEATH FOLLOWS ACCIDENT
He passed away last Friday evening at Community Hospital where he had been a patient since April 10 when he was struck by a hit and run driver on the Prescott highway a few miles north of Wickenburg. In that accident he received a severely fractured leg and other injuries. A heart ailment of several years standing, probably contributed to his death.
Mr Goodloe was 68 years of age. He is survived, as nearly as could be determined here, by two sisters, Sara Goodloe of Tulsa, Okla., and Mary C. Alexander of Franklin, Tenn.
