The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 25, 2003 Felicia H. Kezes, In loving memory a memorial service for Felicia H. Kezes will be held on Monday, April 28, at 10:00 AM at Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away April 23, 2003, at the age of 93. Felicia was born in Lithuania on December 6, 1909, and came to the United States when she was 6 months old, and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She married Dan Kezes in 1934, who preceded her in death in 1979. The family moved to Arizona in 1944. Felicia was a founder and dedicated member of the Lithuanian American Club of Arizona. She has had a continuing active roll as an officer and member of the Club for the past 48 years. She has also been a supporting member of the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture in Chicago, Illinois, and has supported the Lithuanian Orphans Organization. Her dear sister, Charlotte Allen, passed away in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Hilton, her nephew, William Alesauskas, and 2 nieces, Sylvia Frigo, and Marilyn Kallai. Felicia was full of life and energy until lymphoma consumed her. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be dearly missed. Contributions may be made to the Gardiner Home, Hospice of the Valley.
