The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 25, 2003 Eileen H. Lynch, 83 died April 22, 2003 of natural causes in the home she loved. She was born the eldest daughter to Francis and Lila Harris in Hempstead N.Y. on Feb 7, 1920. Graduating nursing school at New York's Mary Emaculate Hospital, she was soon to marry her lifelong love, Dr. Howard Paul Lynch. Their union produced 9 children: Karen (Bob), Brian (Nancy), Bob (Josie), Susan (Alan), Mark, Leslie, Andrea (David), Dan (Teri) Matthew (Lucia), 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob, sister Rita, and her beloved husband. Eileen pressed on to complete the raising of the family after her husband's untimely death. She returned to nursing and retired from Scottsdale Memorial Hospital after many years of service. During these years she gave so greatly of herself. Full of grace & strength she was a rock in the eyes of those she loved, and by them will be forever loved and forever missed.
